Well, Sprint Street, I do not think the Synth that can handle all music genres is made yet. I have things like Fathom, Serum, Dune and Omnisphere along with the more common ones from Native Instruments and Uhe, and still I use Vital a lot. I am not into the same kind of music as you are so I think that is the difference why som give it a 5 star. It would receive a 5 star from me if I were to review it. Echo Soundworks released recently some presets for Vital. Many great ones and in genres at least close to yours. They sound great in my ear.

Wavetables are typically stored as WAV files just like samples. But while samples contain a single possible sound that can be any length, wavetables contain many different single cycle waveforms stacked together and are rarely longer than 12 seconds.
There are numerous methods for creating your own wavetables. You may choose to make one from a recorded sound or sample, breaking it down into single cycle waves to make your wavetable. You can also algorithmically generate wavetables from the ground up with mathematical processes.
Vital, an excellent free wavetable synth, comes with some wavetables that might suit your needs. I have one loaded up right now that does a complete pulse width modulation sweep. Plus it has a wavetable editor that you can use to modify existing tables or create your own from scratch. Echo Sound Works also has some really nice wavetables in their Core Tables collection. There are some nice Moogy saws and other things you might enjoy.
